Vendor Maintenance and Process Changes
Coming Fall 2009
The state of Ohio is changing the way we do business.
This fall, Ohio Shared Services will transform the way the state of Ohio works with the Ohio business community. Highlights of this transformation include:
- Shift in the online location and processing of Vendor Maintenance Forms
- Consolidated processing of agency vendor invoices for DRC, TAX, and RSC
- Implementation of eSupplier, an OAKS vendor self-services module
On September 1, 2009, maintenance of the state’s vendor database will be transferred from State Accounting to Ohio Shared Services. A key component of this change is the shift of vendor forms from the OBM Web site to the Ohio Shared Services Web site.
On October 1, 2009, Ohio Shared Services will begin processing vendor invoices for:
- Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (DRC)
- Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission (RSC)
- Ohio Department of Taxation (TAX).
Vendors currently working with the DRC, RSC, or TAX will receive communications from the agencies regarding the changes to invoice processing.
Also on September 1, 2009, eSupplier, a new vendor self-service module will be available within the OAKS Finance application. This online module provides selected vendors the ability to login and view the real-time status of their purchase orders, invoices, and payments in a read-only portal.
